The Analysis Plus Oval Cables: Worth The Money?

Analysis Plus Cables came to everyone's attention with some splashy print advertising for their line of speaker cables and interconnect. The Oval Nine speaker cables by Analysis Plus are very impressive in appearance.  As the model name suggests, it is a 9 gauge oxygen-free copper. Each end of the cable is extremely well-made, with beefy spade connectors. It is a high-quality construction. Also, though these cables are bulky, they are easy to put just where you want them: they have no tendency to curl. The name suggests it all. Clear Oval is a transparent cable. The outer jacket is made of clear PVC. Designed just like  the company's highly-acclaimed Oval 12 , but using 14 AWG wire instead of 12 AWG, Clear Oval provides much of the same performance but at a much less price.  This is a beautiful use of the Analysis Plus patent-pending hollow oval woven design.
