  Loudspeaker supports have a great impact on sound quality. Each loudspeaker weighed the same as a set of ‘lockable-ball’ feet required to move each one around to get the best position. The Gaia III is built on a simple concept; replacement feet that screw into the base of a loudspeaker. There are no supplied spikes or ball feet. Six variations serve different speakers weighing up to 280kg (gulp). The smallest Gaia III is capable to supports up to 32kg – a good match for the ~20kg Spendor D7.2 and Classic 1/2 speakers (£4,500 / £5,500). Check out the product on jaguaraudio.com . The D7.2s are floorstanders, so the Gaia III can simply take place of the supplied spikes in the four corners of each loudspeaker’s base. The Classic 1/2s has large standmounts, so the Gaia III can take place of the spikes on the bottom of the stands.
